studio BE was pleased to host clinical psychologist and mindfulness instructor Dr. Tracey Meyers for a special free 45-minute workshop on mindfulness as support for mental health Wednesday, May 12th.
Dr. Meyers introduced how meditation can calm and support the nervous system and help with a variety of mental health conditions. She reviewed the current literature and research behind these powerful mindfulness techniques, and explored how they are being integrated effectively into traditional mental health and psychotherapy settings.
