The Greater Wyoming Valley Chamber of Commerce has added another way to support the region to the long list it already offers.  The Chamber has gifted well-being support in the form of subscriptions to studio BE, a platform offering live and on-demand classes in whole-person health, to the employees of local non-profit, The Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA.

Inspired by Tom's Shoes - One for One Campaign, this initiative,  "#studioBEtogether," enables studio BE’s clients to choose a non-profit recipient to "gift" access to the well-being platform. This initiative is rooted in studio BE’s belief that self-care is collective care and that kindness, generosity, and compassion can change the world.

The Chamber has been a client of studio BE since 2019 and has enjoyed the live and on-demand practices to decrease stress, improve focus, and foster connection. When they heard about the opportunity to share studio BE with a non-profit organization, they were excited to share studio BE with The Y.

Lindsay Griffin, Chamber President & CEO, says, “We are so proud to be a client of studio BE and support this thriving, entrepreneurial company located right here in our community. Their platform and what they have created is truly something that we find to be a critical part of our team culture and retention. We are so happy that they also offer the ability for community collaboration through this program to assist another non-profit and the Greater Wyoming Valley YMCA is such a truly well-deserved recipient.”

And the employees at the Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA have appreciated this gift. Lindsay Landis, Director of Development, states, “ We had this idea to promote mental health to our staff, but weren’t sure where to start. I remembered hearing about studio BE through the Chamber; when I reached out to the team they were so receptive and creative, providing  an option for us even though our resources were limited. Thanks to the #studioBEtogether initiative we are now able to offer this amazing tool to our employees that they can access anytime. As a nonprofit  we really rely on community partnerships to strengthen our organization, and we couldn’t be more grateful to studio BE and the Wyoming Valley Chamber for this opportunity.”
